Benevolent Fund

The EFFORT fund was established in 1999 to assist local area firefighters in time of need. It was to help with bills, payments, medical expenses, or other items in the event a local firefighter or family member was injured or sick, or unable to make a payment. EFFORT has assisted firefighters, local residents and area visitors over the past nine years with over $9000.00 in assistance. EFFORT is always looking for addition funds, so between 17 and 25 percent of all funds raised goes directly to the EFFORT fund, which is over and above the funds EFFORT raises on it’s own.
